The system_log table records action_type, table_name, record_id, source_id, destination_id, lot_code, quantity, user_id, details, and timestamp for every significant operation. Over 50 action types are logged: create, edit, delete, assign, unassign, manufacture, consume, move, acknowledge, and more -- spanning sanitation, pest control, temperature, training, incidents, manufacturing, orders, assignments, movements, quarantine, and recalls.

The inventory_audit table captures physical vs. system discrepancies with quantity_before and quantity_after fields, notes, and user attribution. When a physical count doesn't match the system quantity, the audit record documents exactly what changed and why. The incident events table provides a separate, detailed audit trail for each incident with status_from to status_to transitions, creating a complete timeline of every incident's lifecycle.

Reports include searchable audit trail with date range, table, action, user_id, and keyword filtering, paginated at 50 results per page. User activity reports break down actions by type and table, showing who did what and how often. Operations summaries aggregate activity across the system for management review.
